My Coffee & Chat sessions are more informal than typical counselling sessions, I do prefer the word coaching... Think about it just like chatting to an old friend... Sessions can take place at a quiet coffee shop, or a beach or a park, or at your home, somewhere you feel comfortable. It is still Confidential, Just less formal, and we can go at your pace...
My pet is older, and I can't bare the thought of loosing them.
Times like these are often the hardest that we will ever face, but you don't have to do this on your own. I can offer compassion, understanding and support every step of the way, to enable you to think and feel more positive about these difficult decisions. I will also help you explore options on how to create more memories, and how to make the most of the time you have left with your beloved companion.


I am not local, Can you still help?
My base is in Mackay Queensland, but Yes my work can be carried out remotely, ie by phone/video chat/email. I have worked with people from UK, America, and can assist people in most locations. Location is no issue.

How many sessions will I need?
I get asked this question a lot, its like saying how may driving lessons will I need, or how Long is a piece of string...

Some people are feeling more at ease, and have their coping tools in place after just a few sessions, but others may come to see me for longer. Some feel they need a regular check in and ongoing support, as part of their routine to keep them feeling they are progressing and supporting their own wellbeing too.
Some people have sessions weekly, some once a month, some every 3 months. It all depends on you, what you need from the sessions. We also have group sessions to assist with some gentle guidance and having some peer support, a great thing for regular self care maintenance too.
